  • $1000 Non-refundable deposit paid. Should there be an cancelation, notify 4 months in advance.
  • Book your flights (Safari dates and deposit should be locked in prior to flight bookings).

  • Airlines: We recommend direct flights. Delta airlines and SAA have direct flights out of Atlanta, Washington and NY. KLM, Air France and United Airlines have flights through Europe.
  • Traveling with rifles not recommended through Europe.
  • Passport requirements – No special passport or Visa required for U.S citizens entering RSA. Confirm with airline for any airline requirements.
  • Currency:
    • South African Rands, $ can be exchanged for R at the airport.
  • How do I get from and to the airport?
    • Hunting Outfitter or PH from AES will meet you at the airport and drive you to the Lodge and back.
  • Cellular and Network service
    • Wifi will be available at lodges, you may want to consider calling your phone carrier to activate a international plan for your Safari duration
  • Appliances:
    • RSA has a power supply of 220v while US runs on 110v. Therefor cosmetic appliances such as hairdryers and electrical shavers will not work. Rooms at the Lodges will be fully equipped for your use.
  • 3 Long sleeve shirts, 3 short sleeve shirts, Long trousers and walking shorts.

Rifle: Minimum requirements for plains game is 6.5mm or higher. We highly recommend 30 Caliber.

Minimum requirements for dangerous game is a 375 or higher.

Bow: 50 – 70 pounds required for plains game and 80 pounds or more with minimum of 90 ft pounds of energy and arrows of 700 – 1000gr for dangerous game.

12 Hunting shafts and own range finder required.

  • Methods of hunting:

Different types of methods will be performed such as walk and stalk, spot and stalk, Pit Bow Hides, elevated hide and tree stands as well as pop-up blinds.

  • What happens to your trophies?

During the hunt your trophies will be field prepped and skinned by well-trained skinners. Each trophy will be carefully salted and tagged with clients name on. After your Safari your preferred taxidermist/dip and pack facility will be notified for collection or drop off.

  • Importing Trophies to USA

All hunters must be identified by their full given name as on Passport on all documents. Copy of hunting register/permit is a requirement to be submitted with each entry.
